How do I return a product
Return within Norway:
If you wish to return an item you have ordered, you should do so within 30 days of receiving the package. If you do not meet the return date and send the package back late, the package will be sent back to you at your own expense.
Pack the unused item you wish to return neatly in the same packaging or an unused packaging. Make sure the tags on the garment are intact along with a completed return form. Send the return back to Direct House AS (address below), with tracking to make sure we can track the parcel if needed.

Return worldwide:
If you wish to return an item you have ordered you should do so within 30 days after receiving the package. If you do not meet the return date and send the package back late, the package will be sent back to you at your own expense. Pack the item you wish to return nicely in the same packaging as it came in unworn and with the labels intact together with a filled out return form. The parcel should be sent back at the customers expense, and will be handled as soon as possible at our warehouse.
The shipment needs to be sent with tracking, to make sure the parcel gets delivered safely.

Do I have to pay for duties and taxes?
All duties & taxes are included in the order. Shipping will be calculated at chechout.
What do I do if I have received a defect or wrong item?
If you have received a defect or the wrong item, please contact support@hostandvar.com with an explanation of the issue together with an image of the defect.
How can I cancel my order?
Once you have received an order confirmation from Høst&Vår you can not cancel your order. However, if you realise you made a wrong order you should, as quickly as possible, contact support@hostandvar.com and we will do our best to help you.
When will I get my refund?
Once we have received your package and accepted the return the amount will be transferred back to you. Please note that it usually takes 1-3 business days from the day we have processed the return until the amount is available on your account (Norway).
For international customer the processing time will be estimated up to 30 working days. Note that there are alot of packages in circulation and it will be treated as fast as possible.

How can I exchange items?
If you wish to exchange an item you have ordered, place a new order with the desired item and ship back the item you wish to exchange.

Do I have to pay for shipping?
We offer free shipping worldwide on all orders above 1500 NOK / 150 EUR / 170 USD.
If your purchase is below this amount the shipping is at your expense.

How do I take best care of my new garment? Can my garnet be machine washed?
We want to educate you as much as possible on how to take the best care for your products: Use this easy guide learn more about your new garment!
Cupro: Although we do recommend to hand-wash our dresses and garments, you can at your own risk machine wash the garment at a gentle 30 degrees program. Immediately after washing, hang the dress or garment up to dry on a hanger, or lay flat on the floor to dry.
When washing cupro the textile fibres will shrink and you may experience that the garment shrinks, but when it comes in contact with the heat from your body, it will expand again.
Organic cotton (knit): Although we do recommend to hand-wash our garments, you can at your own risk machine wash the garment at a gentle 30 degrees program. Immediately after washing, lay flat on the floor to dry to prevent the garment from stretching.
Alpaca knit: All knits knitted in alpaca we reccomend a very gentle hand wash only. Use the right wash detergent suited for wool. Lay flat on the floor to dry.
My discount code & welcome code does not work. What do I do?
If your welcome code does not work, it may be because you have already used it before. If the code does not work, please contact support before you set the order. We are not able to adjust the order after it´s accepted.
